Matt St.James 5k Run/Walk 2026

The race.

The Matt St. James 5K Run/Walk takes place on August 22, 2026, at 2301 Westside Drive in Rochester, NY, with both runners and walkers starting at 10 a.m. on the cross country trails. The 5K entry fee is $25 for pre-registration through July 31, $30 from August 1–21, and $35 on race day. Pre-registered participants receive a t-shirt; t-shirts are available to later registrants while supplies last and can be purchased separately for $20 ($25 for 2XL and larger). The event features chip timing and awards for 5K finishers. A 1K kids run, free to enter, begins after the 5K concludes. Proceeds benefit David's Refuge, a nonprofit supporting families of children with special needs and life-threatening medical conditions.
