McKaig 5K Trail Race 2026

The race.

The McKaig 5K Trail Race takes place on October 4, 2026, in Wayne, PA, limited to the first 125 registered participants. The 5K course runs through trails with streams and elevation changes. Registration by September 28 includes a race t-shirt; early bird pricing is available through August 31. Race-day amenities include chip timing, a festival area with music and food, and free access to a chili cook-off with voting and raffle entries. Awards go to overall top-3 males and females, plus top-3 finishers in eight age groups (under 14 through 70+), with custom medals for age group winners. A separate Monkey Rock Miler (dogs on leash permitted) and free kids races (150 meters or half mile) are also offered. Proceeds benefit McKaig Nature Center's education programs and land stewardship.
