About the race
The race.
The MCXC 5K takes place on August 15, 2026, in Richmond, Kentucky, at White Hall State Site. Participants can choose between a timed 5K or a 1-mile fun run/walk on the paved trail course. On-site registration opens the morning of the event. All finishers receive a medal, and light refreshments are provided after the races. Proceeds benefit the Madison Central Cross Country Team's upcoming season.
