About the race
The race.
Meglio's Run for the Pizza 5K takes place October 24, 2026, in Newtown, PA, at Council Rock High School North. Participants choose between a 1-mile fun run/walk or a 5K (3.1 miles). Two race formats are available: the Pizza Challenge, in which participants consume pizza during the race (one slice at mile one and one slice at mile three), or the Pizza Celebration for those preferring pizza only after finishing. All registrants receive a race shirt and a pizza-themed finisher's medal, plus two pizza slices at the post-race celebration. The 5K is chip timed, with overall winners and age group winners receiving awards. Race shirts and sizes are guaranteed only for registrations received by October 11th; later registrations receive shirts on an availability basis after the race.
