After seven years away, one of our favorite community traditions is making its return.

Join us on Saturday, August 22, for HomeTown Bank's Midsummer Night Run, an evening dedicated to family, fun, and supporting education in Blount County.

Whether you're an experienced runner chasing a new personal best, joining friends for the 5K, or simply coming out to enjoy the festivities, there's something for everyone. We'll have local food truck favorites, live music, family-friendly activities, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate community together.

And as the evening comes to a close, look to the sky for an unforgettable fireworks finale at 9:00 PM, presented by the same team behind spectacular shows for the Birmingham Barons and major SEC events across the Southeast.

Most importantly, every step, every cheer, and every participant helps support local education through two incredible organizations: OFFER (The Oneonta Foundation for Educational Resources) and the Blount County Education Foundation.

Event Day Parking Parking will be available at Oneonta High School, where you can safely and securely park your car and then be shuttled to and from the event site. As a reminder, there will be NO parking at the event site. Be sure to arrive early to park and make your way to Registration and the start line. Please be sure to plan some extra time to ensure you are parked and can make it to the registration area or start line.

How to wear your Bib-Tag Timing Chip: All 5K participants will be provided a timing chip to produce timed race results. [Click Here] to see details on how to wear your Bib-Tag Timing Chip. Please wear your bib number on the FRONT of your shirt during the race. Remember to bring your bib number on race day. No bib number means no recorded time. The timing chip is located on the backside of your bib number.

Strollers at the Race: If you are participating with a stroller and/or children, we ask that you keep your children with you at all times, and that you start from the back of the starting line. This will allow your family members, and our other participants, a safer race experience.

Bib Number Transfer and Cancellation Policy: There are NO refunds of registration fees.
