MIGUEL REYES ELITE/FUN 5K Run/Walk 2026

The race.

The Miguel Reyes Elite/Fun 5K Run/Walk takes place July 25, 2026, in Fresno, CA, honoring Miguel Reyes. The main 5K race includes an Athena category for women over 185 lbs and a Clydesdale category for men over 225 lbs. Kids races begin at 8:00 am with distances of 400m, 200m, 100m, 50m, and 10m for ages 7–10, 4–5, 3–4, 1–2, and under 1 year respectively. The course is CIF High School Cross Country certified with chip timing. Cash awards total over $18,000, including payouts for overall, masters, grand masters, and seniors divisions, plus bonuses for course records, specific time standards, and the mile mark split. Packet pickup is Friday, July 24th, 3:00–5:00 pm at Fleet Feet, or race morning at Mt. View Shelter in Woodward Park starting at 5:45 am. All participants receive a DRI FIT singlet and medal; kids also receive tacos and medals with trophies for top finishers in each age group.
