Miles of Steel Challenge (November 2026)

The race.

The Miles of Steel Challenge is a virtual event running November 1–30, 2026, where participants walk and/or run 80 miles at their own pace from anywhere. Participants log miles manually or sync from fitness apps via the RunSignup challenge page. All finishers receive a custom 5+ inch medal featuring eight magnetic crystal-shaped milestone pieces, one unlocking for each 10 miles completed; medals ship during the first week of the challenge. US shipping is included; international participants will be contacted about additional shipping costs. The challenge is open to all ages and abilities, with a leaderboard and community Facebook group for tracking progress and connecting with other participants.
