Military Heroes 5k/10k Run 2026

The race.

Military Heroes 5K/10K Run takes place on August 15, 2026, in Westlake, Texas at Solana Plaza (1301 Solana Blvd), with parking in Garage B at 1400 Solana Blvd. The event offers multiple distances: a 3.4-mile course on a looped trail with some shade, a 10.2-mile hilly trail route with some shade, a 3.1-mile race, a 5K for ages 14 and under, a fun run, and virtual/sleep-in options. All chip-timed participants receive finisher medals, and the first 350 runners receive race t-shirts. Age group awards are given three-deep for each distance across categories from 14 and under through 80+, plus overall and master divisions. Registration and packet pickup occur 6:00–6:45 a.m. on race day, with a 7:00 a.m. start time; advance packet pickup is available Thursday 8/13 (12–6 p.m.) and Friday 8/14 (10 a.m.–6 p.m.) at Bear Creek Running Co. in Keller, Texas. Proceeds support injured military service veterans.
