Mitchell 5K 2026

The race.

The Mitchell 5K takes place September 12, 2026, at Heritage Christian Academy in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The 5K race starts at 10:00 am on a cross-country course featuring trails. Packet pickup is available Friday, September 11th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, or Saturday morning from 8:00 to 9:30 am at the school. Race entry is $30. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by August 30th; later registrations receive shirts on a first-come, first-served basis. Awards are given for overall male and female winners and first-place division winners in age brackets spanning 14 and under through 70–99. All race proceeds are divided equally among Heritage Christian Academy School, the Heritage Christian Academy cross-country program, Missionary Support, and a charitable donation made in Mitchell Yoshikawa's memory.
