Monster Dash 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile 2026

The race.

Monster Dash takes place on October 31, 2026, at Harlon Block Sports Park in Weslaco, TX. The event features chip-timed races in three distances: 1 mile, 5K, and 10K. Finishers receive custom-themed medals and a fully sublimated dri-fit participant shirt (for those registered by the deadline). Overall top 3 awards are given for male and female competitors, with age group awards in the 5K and 10K across nine categories ranging from ages 1–7 to 65+. The event includes a costume contest, vendor market, food trucks, live music, kids activities, a trick-or-treat vendor trail, dog costume contest, and pumpkin patch photo area. Team, military, and first responder discounts are available.
