Montana Marathon 2026

The race.

The Montana Marathon takes place September 20, 2026, in Billings, Montana. The marathon course runs point-to-point from Molt to downtown Billings, descending 1,000 feet over its distance, with a 7:00 a.m. start time and a 6.5-hour cutoff. Shuttle service from Senior High School Parking Lot begins loading at 5:30 a.m., with final departure at 6:00 a.m. All finishers receive medals, and age group and overall awards are presented. The 10K begins at 9:30 a.m. from Rimrock West Park, and the 5K starts at 10:00 a.m. from Rose Park. Packet pickup occurs Saturday, September 19th from noon to 5:00 p.m., with race-day pickup available for out-of-town participants.
