The race.
The Montana Veterans Memorial 4.06 Mile Fun Run & Ruck takes place September 12, 2026, in Black Eagle, Montana, with the race starting and finishing on Rivers Edge Trail in Great Falls. Participants of all ages are welcome to run, ruck, or walk the 4.06-mile distance. Those who register at least 30 days before the event receive a race t-shirt and finisher medal. Parking is available at the softball fields south of Black Eagle Park. Proceeds benefit the Montana Veterans Memorial Association, supporting maintenance, operations, and future expansion of the memorial, which currently honors over 8,700 U.S. military veterans.
