The race.
Moonlight on the Falls features a half marathon held on August 29, 2026, in Davis, West Virginia, at Blackwater Falls State Park. The all-paved 6.55-mile looped course begins and ends at Pendleton Point. Back Hollow Running Company organizes this nighttime race, which also offers a marathon, quarter marathon, and distance challenge (ultra marathon) with relay options. All participants receive a long-sleeve triblend T-shirt and finisher medal. Reflective vests and headlamps are required for safety. A festival atmosphere with live music, vendors, and food accompanies packet pickup and pre-race festivities on Saturday.
