Get ready to conquer the peaks with the Tri Peak Series brought to you by River Valley Runners!

Dive into a thrilling trio of races set in breathtaking landscapes, starting with the Mt. Magazine 15k on May 30, 2026 that promises to challenge and inspire. It's only ONE hill!! We start about a half mile from the school on dirt road and then it turns into paved road the rest of the way up to the top of Mt. Magazine. Once at the top, there will be a shuttle to get you to the bottom of the mountain - Or you can go a little extra an run down! What goes up must come down, right?

Early start for Mount Magazine is 6:30am!

Keep the adrenaline pumping with an all paved course 1.5 miles up Danville mtn and 1.5 down! Its a fast fun race up a mountain on June 20, 2026.

We wrap up the series with the deliciously named Mt. Nebo Chicken Fried 10k on August 29, 2026 .This is a paved course that starts at the bottom of Mt. Nebo at the Dollar General across the road. Once at the top, there will be a shuttle to get you to the bottom of the mountain - Or you can go a little extra an run down!

Where you earn the bragging rights along with some awesome swag for the finale!

Each race comes with a Shirt. There are custom medals made for each race. If you do all three races there is a final medal you receive for doing all three! Each year the design is different so we can keep you interested to come back for more!

Can't make a date? No sweat! Just complete the course on your own time, send us your triumph email and Strave/Garmin/Coros course mapping & time recording, and we'll make sure you get your well-deserved gear. Join us for an epic summer of running!

DISCOUNTS?! If you sign up for two of the three races, there is a 10% discount applied! If you sign up for all three races in the Tri Peake series, there is a 15% discount applied! If you a member of RVR you will receive a 10% discount for signing up for any or multiple races.

Race Info:

The Mount Nebo Chicken Fry 10k will begin on Rock Street next to the Dollar General in Dardanelle AR and finish at the top of Mount Nebo at the parking lot for the pool. Get ready for 9 switchbacks and a great climb.

This is a chip timed race you will need to cross the starting mat and finish mat in order to be recorded. Please make sure you have the chip securely attached to your shoe. (see image below for examples)

We will have overall awards for the top 3 male and female finishers for both the runner and walker categories. We will also have top 3 age awards for 10 year increments 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+

Awards will begin @9:00a (we may start sooner if all runners are off course)

Parking:

We will have parking available across the street from Rock Street in the open lot, please do not park in the lot for the Dollar General or the surrounding businesses or you vehicle will be towed.

Packet Pick Up:

We will have same day registration for the race and packet pick up day of only at the at the start line on Rock Street starting @5:45a and closing at 6:45a. Please make sure you plan to get there and get your packet so we can start the race promptly at 7a. (there is no early start for this race)
