The MRT 2026 5K takes place on October 6, 2026, at the Statesville Soccer Complex in Statesville, NC. This 5K race is part of the 2026 Championship Series, which spans 15 races throughout the year. Awards are given for overall, masters, and five-year age groups. Competitors must finish at least 10 of 15 races to be eligible for the series championship, with additional points awarded for races beyond 10 completed. Runners who complete all 15 races earn 5 bonus points and a free race entry for 2027. Series champions receive prize money: first place $60, second place $50, third place $40, fourth place $30, and fifth place $20 for both male and female divisions.
