About the race

The race.

MS 3000 is a 30-day fundraising challenge benefiting Multiple Sclerosis research running from June 27 to July 26, 2026, based in Marshalltown, Iowa. Participants register to document miles completed by motorcycle, bicycle, or running/walking during the 30-day period while soliciting donations from supporters. Registered participants receive a silicone wrist band. Points are awarded based on miles traveled (1 point per motorcycle mile, 10 points per bicycle mile, 100 points per walk/run mile) and donations (10 points per dollar raised). Finishers must accumulate a minimum of 2,000 points, with at least 300 points from donations ($30 minimum). Awards are given for highest overall points, most miles ridden, and most funds raised among finishers.
