Mt. Baldhead Challenge 2026

The Mt. Baldhead Challenge takes place September 12, 2026, in Saugatuck, Michigan. Runners choose between a 10K+ course (approximately 7 miles) or a Half Marathon (13.1 miles), both starting at Oval Beach and finishing at Coghlin Park. Both routes include woodland trails, sand dunes, and the Mt. Baldhead steps. Chip-timed races use staggered waves based on expected finishing times, with a 12:30 PM time limit. Water and Gatorade stations are positioned no more than 1.5 miles apart, and portable restrooms are available at multiple locations. Packet pickup occurs September 11 (12 PM–8 PM) or September 12 (7 AM–8 AM) at Community Church of Douglas, with mail-away options available. All finishers receive a post-race celebration at Coghlin Park featuring food, refreshments, music, lawn games, and a complimentary drink ticket (21+). Net proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Holland's programs in Saugatuck Public Schools.
