Mud Sweat and Gears is a mountain bike race held August 29, 2026, at Comlara Park in Hudson, Illinois. The cross-country event features five race options: a 1-mile kids race (free, under age 12), a 7-mile novice loop, an 8-mile sport loop, a 15-mile expert loop, and a 31-mile double expert loop. The course combines single track, double track, and open field terrain around Evergreen Lake, with sport and expert categories also navigating short road sections on public roads. A non-competitive Catnose option allows riders to complete either the novice or sport/expert courses without awards.
