Mullet Festival 5K Run/Walk & Fun Run 2026

The race.

The Mullet Festival 5K Run/Walk takes place on September 7, 2026, in Lillian, Alabama, benefiting the Optimist Club of Perdido Bay. The certified 5K course runs on paved and dirt roads with rolling terrain, starting and finishing at Lillian Recreation Park at 7:30 a.m. Registration is $30 before August 25 at noon, or $35 from August 25 through race day; same-day registration is available. Participants receive a race tee shirt (guaranteed for pre-August 25 registrants), water on course, and post-race refreshments including beer. Awards are given for overall winners, age-group finishers across numerous divisions, masters categories, wheelchair finishers, and walkers. An EMT truck provides medical coverage, and food is available for purchase on-site.
