About the race

The race.

The MV Spring Classic offers a marathon (26.2 miles) and half marathon (13.1 miles) on April 26, 2026, on Martha's Vineyard. The marathon starts at 8:00 a.m. and the half marathon at 8:15 a.m., both from Martha's Vineyard Regional High School, with finish lines at Waban Park in Oak Bluffs. Both courses are USATF certified; the marathon qualifies for Boston Marathon entry. Bib and shirt pickup occurs Saturday, April 25, from 1:00–5:00 p.m. at Lululemon in Edgartown, or race morning from 6:00–7:30 a.m. at the high school. Participants must be at least 16 years old. Race proceeds benefit local youth organizations and sports teams.
