MVOC Cricket Holler Night-O / Search & Destroy-O 2026

The race.

On December 5, 2026, the Miami Valley Orienteering Club hosts a Night-O and Search & Destroy-O orienteering event at Cricket Holler Boy Scout Camp in Dayton, Ohio. The Night-O phase runs from 6:00–7:00 PM with a mass start at 6:00 PM, offering a one-hour time limit to punch as many of 20 controls as possible in any order, earning one point per control. The Search & Destroy-O phase begins at 7:00 PM with returned controls earning points. Participants navigate the camp's trails and woods using provided course maps and reflective controls, with loaner compasses available. The event welcomes individuals and teams of all experience levels and accommodates various participation styles—running, walking, or hiking.
