The race.

This orienteering event in Yellow Springs, Ohio, takes place October 25, 2026, at John Bryan State Park and Camp Birch. Participants navigate a 10K course using maps and compasses to locate checkpoints across varied terrain. Four skill levels are available—White (Beginner), Yellow (Novice), Orange (Advanced), and Green/Red (Elite)—with up to two hours to complete each course. The Miami Valley Orienteering Club provides high-quality maps, electronic chip timing, loaner compasses, and beginner instruction. The event runs in all weather conditions.
