About the race
The race.
The 13th Annual Turkey Run takes place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at Lake Perris Dam in Perris, California. Participants can choose from a 5K race, 10K race, or kids 1-mile race for ages 5–12. The 5K and 10K races start at 8:30 AM, with packet pickup beginning at 7:30 AM at the Fisherman Lot entrance. Awards are presented to the top three overall finishers in each race division by gender, with overall winners receiving a Thanksgiving turkey. Online registration closes on November 20, 2026, with race-day registration available from 7:30–8:15 AM. Entry fees are $20 for the 5K, $25 for the 10K, and $5 for the kids 1-mile race.
