About the race
The race.
Volunteers sign up to work 3-hour shifts at San Diego Comic-Con during July 23–26, 2026, with free convention admission after their shift ends. This opportunity is restricted to active duty E1-E6 personnel, who may select one preferred day to volunteer. MWR provides transportation from two pickup locations (The Recyard at NBSD and VADM Martin Liberty at NASNI), though volunteers may arrange their own transportation. Registrants must have a Comic Con Member ID and will receive confirmation emails in mid-June requiring response by a specified deadline; spots not confirmed will go to the waitlist. Cosplay is encouraged for volunteers.
