Intermediate Sailing: August 15/16 2026

Intermediate Sailing is a two-day course offered August 15-16, 2026, at Fiddler's Cove Marina in San Diego, CA, running from 9 am to 4 pm. The course is open to Military Welfare and Recreation patrons and sponsored guests ages 16 and older (minors require a parent or guardian), including E1–E6, E7 and above, retirees, veterans, Department of Defense employees, and sponsored civilian guests. Pre-registration is required. Registration includes boat rental, instruction, and textbooks. Participants must hold a valid California Boater Card or course completion certificate before the first class day. Upon completion, students receive a Navy Sailing Qualification Card. Closed-toe shoes are required; sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats are recommended.
