National Chocolate Day: Run for Chocolates 5K/10K/13.1 SAN DIEGO 2026

The race.

On September 12, 2026, The Best Races hosts a National Chocolate Day run event in San Diego, CA with four distance options: 1 mile, 5K, 10K, and 13.1 miles. Participants can choose from four staggered waves beginning at 7:30 AM, with the final wave starting at 8:30 AM. All ages and fitness levels are welcome to run or walk. Each finisher receives a race bib on race day, a technical running shirt (shipped to a US address), a finisher's medal, a finisher's towel or giveaway item, a digital training pack, and an online certificate of completion. Timing is optional and can be tracked via personal fitness apps or coordinator assistance. A virtual run option is also available, allowing participants to complete their chosen distance at any location and time, then submit results for a finisher's medal.
