Navajo Code Talker 10K 2026

The race.

The Navajo Code Talker 10K takes place on September 13, 2026, starting at 8 a.m. in Window Rock, Arizona, at the Navajo Nation Museum. The 10K race course is a 6.2-mile loop that departs from the Museum, travels the Museum Trail toward the WR Dam and Fish & Wildlife trail system, passes through the historic tribal government complex, and returns via WR Park. A non-competitive 2-mile option is also available. Registration costs $35 (increasing to $40 after September 1st) and includes an event t-shirt, finishers medal, race bib, and a poster from the Navajo Code Talker Poster Series. Packet pickup begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Museum parking area. Three aid stations provide fluids at mile 1, and fluids plus fruit and gels at the halfway point and near the Education Center; pre-race breakfast bars and bananas are available at the start. Overall and age-group awards are presented to top 10K finishers, and all finishers receive a medal. The race benefits the Code Talker Poster Project.
