Neighborhood House Scare Away Hunger 5K | 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk 2026

The race.

On October 4, 2026, in Rochester, Michigan, Neighborhood House hosts a 5K run/walk and 1-mile family fun run/walk to benefit their food pantry. The 5K starts at 9:00 AM with a $40 entry fee that includes a timed bib, t-shirt, medal, and finish line snacks. The family fun run follows immediately after and costs $15 per person, with a bib, participation award, and snacks included. Both events feature a pancake breakfast; spectators can purchase breakfast for $5. Packet pickup occurs Friday, October 2 from 4:00–7:00 PM at Neighborhood House Main Office (1720 South Livernois) or race morning from 8:00–9:00 AM on-site. Participants are encouraged to wear family-friendly Halloween costumes and bring canned food donations.
