Gnar Runners hosts the Never Summer 100km, 60km, and 100-mile Dirty Double races on July 24–26, 2026, starting from Gould Community Center in Walden, Colorado. The 60km race begins Friday at 5:30 a.m. with a 15-hour time limit; the 100km begins Saturday at 5:30 a.m. with a 24-hour cutoff. Courses run almost entirely within State Forest State Park between the Never Summer and Medicine Bow Mountains, covering 8,450 to 11,852 feet in elevation across trail, dirt road, and alpine terrain. Registration is capped at 625 total runners (325 for 100km, 300 for 60km). The route includes two alpine peaks, four to five alpine lakes, high alpine ridge running, meadows, streams, and boulder fields.
