The race.
The New Balance RunningLane XC Championships takes place on December 5, 2026, in Huntsville, AL. The event features a 5K cross country race and a 2-mile race. The 2-mile race is open to club teams with boys and girls age groups for 13-14, 11-12, 9-10, and 8 and under, welcoming participants in grades 1-8. Seventh and eighth graders may choose to compete in the 5K instead. Top individual finishers in each age group category receive medals. All 2-mile divisions run together in a single race. Races are streamed live on MileSplit.
