The race.
Race Against Gun Violence takes place Saturday, September 12th, 2026 in Brooklyn, NY. Participants can choose from a 5K (starting at 9:00 AM), a 2-Mile Walk (starting at 9:10 AM), or a Kids for Peace Sprint (starting at 8:30 AM). The event supports local community organizations working to end gun violence, with 100% of charitable contributions directed to participants' selected charity partners. Charity booths will be set up starting at 7:00 AM, followed by a welcome and warm-up at 8:00 AM.
