New York Harriers Mile & Donut Relay 2026

The race.

The New York Harriers Mile & Donut Relay takes place August 22, 2026, in New York, NY, featuring two events at Riverbank Running Track. The Harrier Mile consists of multiple heats organized by submitted registration times, with official timing and professional photography; heats run from 5pm to approximately 6pm, with awards to the top 3 finishers in Open and Masters (40+) categories for men, women, and non-binary competitors. The Donut Relay Mile follows at approximately 6pm, with teams of four runners each consuming one donut before completing a 400-meter lap; awards go to the top relay team in Men's, Women's, and Mixed categories (mixed teams must include at least two women). Registration for the relay requires a team captain to establish the team and pay a $30 fee; other team members register individually with adjusted fees. Spike shoes and cleats are not permitted. An after-party celebration follows the races at a location to be announced.
