Newton Turkey Trot 2026

The race.

The Newton Turkey Trot takes place on November 22, 2026, in Newton, MA, featuring a USATF Certified 5K course and a 1-mile kids fun run. The 1-mile run starts at 8:30 AM and the 5K starts at 9:00 AM, both beginning and ending at Zervas Elementary School on Beethoven Avenue. The 5K follows an out-and-back route through Newton neighborhoods, along Commonwealth Avenue's carriage lane to Newton City Hall, and back to the school. Awards go to the top 3 overall male and female 5K finishers, top 3 finishers in age categories (12 and under through 70+), and the top male and female finisher in the kids run. All children in the 1-mile run receive medals, and the first 1,200 5K participants receive medals. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit the Newton Food Pantry and Centre Street Food Pantry. Register by October 22 for a limited-edition t-shirt.
