About the race
The race.
The 17th Annual Night Crawl 5K takes place on October 17, 2026, in downtown Newton, NC. The certified course (NC22009DF) offers a 5K distance for runners, walkers, and crawlers, with separate registration categories for students and college students. Early registration is $30 ($25 for students and children 12 and under) through October 1st; late registration costs $35. Participants receive a goodie bag at finish. Proceeds benefit the Elementary School Back Pack Programs serving Caldwell and Catawba Counties. Registration is available through the RunSignup website or by contacting the Catawba Valley Association of Realtors at (828) 322-8249.
