NM SUNFLOWER RUN 2026

The race.

The NM Sunflower Run takes place August 23, 2026, in Albuquerque, offering a 6.21-mile 10K and a 3.12-mile 5K, both starting at 8:00 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. respectively at Coronado Dual Language Magnet School. The race finishes at Casa Rondeña Winery in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. This adults-only event (21+) features a point-to-point loop course. Finishers receive a custom medal, wine glass, t-shirt, and refreshments at the finish line. Packet pickup occurs August 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Heart and Sole Sports, with race-day pickup available 7:00–7:30 a.m. at the start location. Professional timing chip technology is used for results and awards eligibility.
