The race.

Nocturnal 12 is a 12-hour fixed-time race held October 17, 2026, in Rochester, NY, organized by Obatron Fitness. Participants run or walk a 2.06-mile out-and-back loop on the paved Lake Ontario State Parkway Trail between Island Cottage Road and Dewey Avenue, completing as many laps as possible between 5 p.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Sunday; only fully completed laps count toward final distance. The event accommodates walkers and mobility-impaired participants and offers dietary-sensitive food options at an all-night aid station. Packet pickup runs from 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. on race day. Finishers receive a wooden medallion, a Nocturnal 12 shirt, a digital certificate, and access to raffle opportunities for additional prizes. Parking is available on the shoulder of Island Cottage Road.
