Northbrook District 27 PTA 5K, 1 Mile and Kid's Dash 2026

The race.

The Northbrook District 27 PTA offers a 5K run/walk, 1-mile run, and kids' dash on September 26, 2026, in Northbrook, IL. The 5K and 1-mile courses are USATF certified with professional chip timing; the 5K follows a single-loop course and the kids' 1-mile race stays within the park. The kids' dash includes a warm-up exercise session and obstacle course. Proceeds benefit the Rohrabaugh Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to Glenbrook North High School seniors who graduated from Wood Oaks Jr. High School. Finishers receive t-shirts (guaranteed for registrations before September 1). Packet pickup occurs at Wood Oaks Junior High School on Thursday, September 24 (4–6 p.m.), Friday, September 25 (2–6 p.m.), and race morning, September 26 (6:30–7:45 a.m.).
