About the race
The race.
This Oakland Tech PTSA fundraiser features a 5K trail race and 1-mile fun run/walk in Joaquin Miller Park. The 1-mile event starts at 9:00 am and the 5K trail race starts at 9:30 am on November 1, 2026. Bib pickup is available Saturday, October 31 from 2:00–4:00 pm at Transports or Sunday, November 1 from 8:30 am at Joaquin Miller Meadow. Proceeds support Oakland Tech student programs and activities through the school's PTSA, including the cross country team. Tax-deductible donations are also accepted (Tax ID: 94-6174624).
