The race.

The Oasis Dash Half Marathon • 5 Miler • 5K takes place on November 21, 2026, in Austin, Texas at Bob Wentz Park on the Lake Travis shoreline. Three distances are offered: a 5K starting at 9:00 AM, a 5-mile distance (also called 8K) starting at 9:00 AM that serves as the RRCA Texas State Championship, and a half-marathon starting at 8:00 AM. The half-marathon covers approximately 13.1 miles on sandy lakeside paths with water and electrolyte aid available at every lap. Finishers of the half-marathon receive a custom medal and are eligible for age group awards by gender. The 5-mile event awards RRCA championship medals to Open, 40+, 50+, 60+, and Adaptive age group divisions (male and female). All distances use chip timing to record official splits and finish times.
