About the race
The race.
The Ocala Kids Run is a free 1-mile chip-timed race for elementary and middle school students, held on August 29, 2026, at 8:30 AM at the Baseline Greenway Trailhead in Ocala, Florida. Presented by the Ocala Distance Project, the event requires advance registration for free entry; day-of registration costs $15 if space is available. All finishers receive a medal selected from a mystery box of medals from previous Ocala Distance Project races.
