The race.
Ocean State Rhode Races takes place Sunday, October 25, 2026, in Narragansett, RI, featuring a 26.2-mile marathon, 13.1-mile half marathon, and 3.1-mile 5K. The marathon starts at 7:30 a.m., the half marathon at 8:00 a.m., and the 5K at 8:15 a.m. The marathon course is USATF certified and qualifies for the Boston Marathon and Abbott World Marathon Majors. The half marathon is the final race in the Rhode Race Series. A 5K team competition for RI Senior Games qualifies participants for the National Senior Games Association in 2027, with age group teams in five-year increments from 50-54 through 90+. The race is endorsed by the New England 65+ Runners Club.
