The race.
The Ocmulgee EMC/Conexon 5K and 1 Mile takes place August 1, 2026, in Cochran, GA. The 1-mile race starts at 7:30 AM and the 5K starts at 8:00 AM. The 5K features nine age groups (11 & Under through 60+), while the 1-mile has four age groups (7 & Under through 15+). Awards go to the top male and female finishers in each distance, plus the top three finishers in each age group. Runners who register by July 22 at 12:00 AM receive a t-shirt. Race day registration opens at 6:45 AM.
