Officer Shawn Silvera Memorial 5K 2026

The Officer Shawn Silvera Memorial 5K takes place September 20, 2026, in Forest Lake, Minnesota. The event features a 5K run, a 1-mile run, and a 50-yard run. Proceeds benefit The Invisible Wounds Project, which provides mental health support and wellness programs for veterans, first responders, and their families, as well as the Police Explorers youth program. The Public Safety Challenge invites teams of first responders and their family and friends to compete, with teams requiring a minimum of four runners and at least two current or former first responders. The Civilian 5K Challenge welcomes solo runners and teams of any size with no service record required. A vendor fair runs alongside the event.
