About the race
The race.
The Oktoberfest Run takes place on September 26, 2026, in New York City and offers 5K and 10K distances. Participants can choose from four wave start times beginning at 7:30 AM, with coordinators supporting runners for three hours after the first wave. All ages and paces are welcome to run or walk; children under 18 must have a guardian present. Finishers receive a technical running shirt (shipped to their US address), finisher's medal, towel or giveaway item, digital training pack, and online certificate of completion. Timing is optional and can be tracked via personal running apps or with coordinator assistance. A virtual run option is also available, allowing participants to complete the distance at any time and location before submitting results for their medal.
