Olympia Mile and Festival 2026

The race.

The Olympia Mile and Festival takes place on August 22, 2026, in Olympia, Washington. Participants can bike, run, or walk one mile down Capitol Way, finishing at Sylvester Park where a festival runs from 9 a.m. to noon. Bikes depart at 9 a.m., runners start at 9:15 a.m., and walkers begin at 9:20 a.m. A competitive race option with timing is available for runners. Registration is required but the event is free. Capitol Way will be closed to traffic until 10:30 a.m., and the festival features food trucks, music, face painting, giveaways, a beer garden, and local sports clubs and teams.
