Operation Outdoor Freedom Event 2026

The race.

The Operation Outdoor Freedom Event takes place October 18, 2026, at Jennings State Forest in Middleburg, FL. Runners can choose from six distances: 1.5 miles, 5K, 7K, 5 miles, 10 miles, and a 7K ruck. The 5-mile and 10-mile courses are single loops traversing the Sawyer Trail and crossing the Many Seeps Bridge, with the 10-mile route including additional technical terrain and vista points overlooking Black Creek. Aid stations are located at the 4-way section; runners must bring their own handheld water bottles or hydration vests for refills. Awards include overall winners, masters categories, and a last-place award. All finishers receive custom dog tags and access to food and non-alcoholic beverages. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit Operation Outdoor Freedom.
