A 5K run/walk benefiting Operation Veteran and Caregiver Support takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, starting at 8:30 a.m. at Lock 9 Park in Piqua, Ohio. The course follows the Great Miami River Trail heading south from the park, with a water station at the halfway point. Registration costs $25 for ages 13 and up and $15 for ages 5–12; participants receive a race number, t-shirt, and post-race snack. Registration closes September 20 to guarantee a shirt. Pre-packet pickup runs 5:00–7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 2 in Troy; race-day check-in opens at 7:00 a.m. Awards go to the top male and female finishers overall and the top three in each age division (9 & under through 70 & up). All proceeds support programs serving veterans, families, and active-duty service members.
