About the race
The race.
Orienteering Race #4 Finale takes place November 21, 2026, at Panama Community Center in Panama, Nebraska. The 5-mile event starts at 9:30 a.m. with a 3-hour cutoff time of 12:30 p.m. Participants navigate on foot through trails around creeks, pastures, and wooded areas to locate checkpoints throughout and around town. Registration is $40 per person for solos or teams of 2–3 (coed, male, or female divisions). Check-in opens at 8:30 a.m. Pre-plotted Cal Topo maps are provided; coordinates use Handy GPS App format. Top three solos and teams receive medals. Snacks and drinks are included. Registration closes November 6.
