About the race
The race.
The ORRC Turkey Trot takes place on November 26, 2026, at the Oregon Zoo in Portland with multiple distances: a 5K, 4-mile run, youth 4-mile run, and shorter distances of 0.3 and 0.5 miles. The 5K is an untimed out-and-back course starting near the Forestry Center and Max station, passing toward the International Rose Garden before finishing at Elephant Plaza. All 5K and youth event participants receive a beanie hat and chocolate turkey.
