ORRRC Broken Toe 50k & 25K & Ruck 2026

The race.

The Broken Toe 50K & 25K & Ruck takes place on November 7, 2026, at Caesar Creek State Park Campground in Wilmington, Ohio. The 25K covers one loop of approximately 16 miles; the 50K covers two loops. The 50K ruck category requires a minimum weight of 15 to 20 pounds. Racing begins at 8 a.m., with an optional early start at 7 a.m.; packet pickup is available at 6:30 a.m. on race morning. The course includes rolling terrain with creek crossings, trailhead sections, and lake-adjacent portions, with four aid stations (two manned, two unmanned). All distances have a 9.5-hour cutoff; 50K participants must begin the second loop by 12:30 p.m. Registration closes October 31, 2026, or when capacity is reached; early registration by October 1 guarantees race swag.
